We can't wait to get this started!! So, how about we do that NOW!

For our very first blog, I'd like to take us back to the beginning, where it all started.

First of all, HIII! I'm Skyler and I'm the owner behind Swanky Vine Company! I'm 27 years old, married, and have three beautiful babes. If you don't follow us personally, something you might not know is that we move around A LOT, but we're back in Texas & I could not be more excited about it!

I've grown up (the majority of my life) learning all of the ins and outs of the fashion industry. My parents started their own company in 2000 and I've been there with them since day one. In the 4th grade I was writing millions of dollars in orders for a variety of clothes and accessories. I learned early on how to run a successful business. Not only that, I got the creative gene from my mama. Thanks mom!! Designing and making things from scratch has always been a passion of mine.

Throughout the years, I helped with wholesale, retail, online businesses, and brick and mortars.

In 2014, I started my own online business. What a crazy time that was! I dropped out of college and went full force into online marketing and sales. The dream in the back of my head was still to start my own company in the fashion industry, so almost every dollar I made went back into that.

In 2017, Swanky Vine Company was born in my living room.

Wow, have we grown. & let me introduce our new logo:

**screams with excitement**

In 2020, I started Jolene's Vine, which is a brand extension of SVC. It's our ladies only line that I could not be more excited about!

I feel so thankful and blessed to be able to call a company my own. All the blood, sweat, and tears put into this dream of mine has all been worth it. You know that saying, behind ever purchase from a small shop there's a person doing a happy dance? Yeah, that's me! Every time I see someone on my site, someone who likes a post, someone who shares a post, and someone who makes a purchase, I'm behind the screen doing probably the most embarrassing HAPPY DANCE!!

I wouldn't be able to do any of this without YOU. Yeah, YOU! The one reading this. SVC would not be where it is without you. I am so incredibly thankful for YOU, sweet thing!! Thank you for supporting my dreams!

My advise to you, don't ever give up on your dreams. It may take days, weeks, months, or years, but I promise it's worth it! It's worth the tears and the sleepless nights. Do your best not to compare yourself to others. You may see someone pass you by that started after you. Cheer them on! There's room for EVERYONE at the top. You got this, babe! Don't ever let anyone dull your sparkle!

If you've gotten this far, THANK YOU! Please drop a sweet comment below and let me know you're here!

Be on the lookout every Swanky Saturday for a blog post & share the love with your friends & family!

Stay Swanky, babes!

xoxo,

Skyler Thomas, Owner of SVC
